Handwritten and Enlighten

As part of the Canberra Festival, the Library is participating in ENLIGHTEN, a magical program of events on the 2,3,9,&10 March. Activities will include spectacular lighting projections and entry to Handwritten and the Treasures Gallery until 11 pm. This Saturday, 3 March, the Handwritten Ensemble will play in the foyer and at 7.30pm we will show a film screening of Death in Venice (1971, 130mins, PG). Dr Roger Hillman, German and Film Studies, Australian National University will introduce the film.

    Really amazed that such documents are still in existence. Beautiful writing, such a touching link to these wonderful people.
    Just as beautiful your shadow pictures on the walls, I would love to find out more about them and th techniques used to make them.
