Only two weeks to go until the Libraries Australia Forum at the Hobart Function and Convention Centre! We are fortunate to have two speakers from overseas: Janifer Gatenby, an international bibliographic standards expert, who will talk about developments in bibliographic utilities; and Jim Michalko, who will explore the latest trends in current social, policy and technology influences on libraries. Jim writes for the blog Hanging Together.
State Library of Western Australia CEO, Margaret Allen, will talk about challenges in the Australian library environment, and Warwick Cathro will launch the National Library’s newest service for all Australians, Trove.
